Community Advocates for a Sustainable Environment
Community Advocates for a Sustainable Environment (CASE) was formed in 2017 to plan our Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair, and to help our neighbors find renewable solutions for our homes and our community. CASE is a grassroots, all-volunteer organization of concerned citizens in New York’s Capital District. Our mission is to promote the use of renewable energy through education, advocacy, and networking.
TAKE ACTION:
Send Comments to the Public Service Commission Opposing the National Grid Rate Hike and Climate Destruction – The gas rate hike proposed by National Grid would fund $41.8 million in new gas delivery infrastructure, in just one year alone, continuing to harm us instead of helping us. This request includes money for the E37/Albany Loop Pipeline too.
Sign the petition to stop the E-37 Albany Loop Pipeline – As of 9/2021, the proposed pipeline is on hold due to lower power demand and COVID-19 impacts; but it continues to be “on the table” for future development and reactivation should market conditions or fluctuations change. The project is included in the National Grid 3-year plan before the PSC.
